Please allow me to introduce myself. The name is Mehdi, and I am an extraordinary gentleman that will keep you thinking about how in the world you were able to lead a seemingly normal life without knowing me.

I've raced Olympic swimmers and former world record holders. I've traveled numerous times to amazing locales likes Italy, Germany, Turkey, San Francisco, and many other places. (San Francisco is still by far my favorite) I'm an amazing cook, primarily inspired by Caribbean styles of cooking. I enjoy a variety of books and usually am stuck reading through a few books at the same time.

This here though is my Tumblr, it's where I go to Tumbl! I hope you enjoy it.

That night I called her, she said
Daddy, daddy, daddy, all my life
I’ve been trying to find my place in the world

I said to her
Baby, baby, babe I got all night
To listen to the heart of a girl

I just saw that James Avery just passed away and all I could think of was this scene from Fresh Prince. The ending moment between Will and Uncle Phil was unscripted and it shows how caring and loving James Avery was towards the people he interacted with. Judge Phillip Banks was the first positive black male role model I saw on TV (other than Dr. Heathcliff Huxtable…) and I want to post this in tribute. Mr. Avery, thank you for being a part of my childhood and you will be sorely missed.

A million times I would reblog this. It makes me cry every time.

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!

reblog if ur older than 10 and play pokemon

aphmolossia:

my sister says she’s getting teased at her school for liking pokemon. shes in fifth grade. my mom is telling her that she’s too old to be playing pokemon. my sister is 10. My mom said ‘Pokemon is geared towards a younger audience.’ But I’m 15, in high school, and i still play pokemon and my mom hasnt said anything about it to me. i want to prove a point to my mom, so if you’re older than 10 and play pokemon please reblog this post!

My mom still complains about her 23 year old son still playing. I tell her be happy the money she spent on me when I was ten wasn’t a waste, seeing as I still go back to Yellow and Blue now.

From a lil trip to #NubbleLight in #Maine . Oh! Fun fact, this is the most photographed #lighthouse in the US in all them calendars, tchotchkes, and other whatnots.

Break me off a piece of that #kitkat bar! We finally got to visit #Google at the #TCSummit2013 and as a Nexus TC one of our first stops was this “special” building.

Another sight from my trip to #Istanbul was the #GrandBazar . it was a spectacular #maze of shops and hagglers throughout. Even outside of it was bad. My sister and I are walking and a peddler starts speaking Turkish to us, so we start speaking Farsi. He starts speaking Farsi, so we start speaking English. He starts speaking English, and in a foolish attempt to avoid him we start speaking out broken junior high Spanish. Guess what? So does he…

Delicious #Ghiradelli #chocolate made to compliment the wines by the band #Train . This is what I imagine when I think of #SanFrancisco , wine, chocolate, a bit of a fun culture, and good music.

Another pic from a beautiful trip to #SanFrancisco , this is the UN building from what I recall. I’m lucky enough to be able to #travel there again next week.

In my #travel I’d have to say that the homeless #dogs in #Istanbul were ridiculously #cute . Like they’d wait at intersections for the walking lights to go on and they’d cross the street in groups. And they were all just nice. I felt bad for some of the #homelessdogs but apparently the city takes care of the stray animals.
